This is super nerdy but… want to see what’s new in a release or track down when a feature was added? You do you! The current App Store release is 2.0.2.
- Version 2.0 Free framing with no watermark, Batch Mode for hundreds of images, automatic privacy redaction, Magic Import for text and links, and a native macOS app.
- Version 1.4 A fully vitrified Liquid Glass redesign with a larger preview, the newest iPhone and Apple Watch frames, grouped backgrounds and new background styles.
- Version 1.3 Custom export sizes with saved presets, fixed-width exports in every mode, new striped, Solidarity and LGBTQ+ backgrounds, and updated Shortcuts actions.
- Version 1.2.5 Adds Close support to the main macOS window and resizes the store window to fit smaller Mac displays.
- Version 1.2.4 A maintenance release for Shareshot: the last background you chose is now reliably remembered between sessions.
- Version 1.2.3 Recognition for the iPhone 16e, iPad Air M3 and iPad A16, in-app tips explaining key features, and new Unlock Pro and Help links in the macOS menu.
- Version 1.2.2 Shareshot arrives on macOS Sequoia with screenshot folder monitoring, plus Unframing with optional rounded corners, a “No frame” option and a 33% zoom level.
- Version 1.2.1 More keyboard shortcuts for jumping between background styles, stepping through them and turning the lighting on and off.
- Version 1.2 Solid colour backgrounds, Background Tweaks for hue, saturation and brightness, Frame Memory, a Default Export Action and new Shortcuts.
- Version 1.1 A “Frame last screenshot” Control Widget for iOS 18, plus new frames for the iPhone 16 range, Apple Watch Series 10 and Ultra, Nintendo Switch and Playdate.
- Version 1.0 The first release: every published Apple device frame, Smart Frame Selection, custom frames, gradient backgrounds with lighting, and Shortcuts actions.
