Shareshot Release Notes — 2.0
What’s New

- Privacy — Automatic redaction of possibly private information and faces, with redaction memory between sessions.
- Magic Import — import text and links to instantly create images from them for use in slides, social posts and blog posts. Also renders images for links to Apple Music, Apple Maps, App Store apps, podcasts, social posts (X, BlueSky and Mastodon) and general link preview web cards.
- Speed — Huge performance improvements in rendering and UI responsiveness. Changes to style settings update very quickly!
- Native macOS app! MacOS 26+ only, no more Catalyst, including all new Settings UI, overhauled Custom Size UI, native sidebar and inspector.
- So many bug fixes and improvements.
